There was no tvs working during my stay. Mildly inconvenient but not the end of the world. I woke up the next day with no hot water. I let the water run for ten minutes and still ice cold. The amount of construction going on was also annoying. At one point I opened my door to see what was going on outside and it was a cloud of dust and debris. I feel like I had to stay in my room to avoid inhaling any of that dust.

To be honest this is ALWAYS my go to hotel when I’m staying in Miami. I love it for it’s central location, easy, parking, close to the mall for shopping and entertainment and etc. I have had no issues with this hotel until my most recent stay. For reference, I stayed two here two nights during my 4 night stay in Miami. I was there my first and final nights in the city. Upon arrival it was clear that there was construction going on at the hotel. When I arrived for check in my room was ready immediately which was nice, however they did not communicate at all that the tvs in the hotel were not working. A mild inconvenience but not a deal breaker. I must say the amount of work going on directly outside my door was actually crazy. After spending the whole morning in the airport I was looking forward to hopping into my bad and relaxing but could not even do so. At one point I took a look into the hallway to see what was going on and the hallway was a cloud of dust and debris. I felt like I had to stay in my room to avoid inhaling any of that dust. The next morning I checked out hoping that my next stay would be more pleasant. Unfortunately that was not the case. When I arrived at check in for my second stay they did mention the tvs not working which was nice but when I woke up to shower before checking out there was no hot water. Even after letting the water run for 10 minutes. I may have to reconsider staying here in the future, which stinks because I do like to stay here

BEWARE! ... Book elsewhere!!

Arrival, was confusing. The hotel is one building with two hotels. The other was Homewood Suites. I have had bad experiences with “Suites” hotels cuz they seem to rent by the week. Parking Lot: was small, dark, and seedy. I did not feel safe. Semi-trucks took several spots. Staff, could not find my Honors account and shamed me for not booking through Hilton. Also, night staff could not setup a late checkout. I had to call between 7-9 am. HELLO, the reason for the late checkout request is to sleep in, not have to set an alarm to call and request more time. Room: looked clean, but that image disappears when you see bugs in the shower. Bed: was very firm and the comforter was frayed and worn. AC: rest in the night to 76, woke up sweating and uncomfortable. Breakfast was $20 a person. Run Away!
