I really enjoyed my stay here,I would definitely book again.The deposit was 100$ more than listed but as soon as you check out 10/15 minutes later your money is back in your account.

It was clean and we were tired. But literally EVERYTHING in the room was broken. Tv? Broke. Clock radio? Broke. Refrigerator? Broke. Coffee machine? Broke. AND lightbulbs were missing. It was very disappointing, as we were looking forward to staying there. There’s a reason why they call it Breakwater. And we found those reasons in room 516.

Disgusting conditions in this hotel. Dirty beds, sofa, bathroom, walls, floor. No bed linens or blankets. Drug dealers outside, very loud. All around gross. Do not stay here!!

Our room you could see the iguanas sunbathing on the roof. They have bikes to use. The pool is small. Great food here. Luggage storage, beach chairs and towels. Newly updated. Just finished painting lobby and rooms, new wall hangings and new lobby furniture.

NEED IMPROVEMENTS

It was way below expectations. 1- Interacted with 3 guest relation ladies during my stay they were not very I would say " GUEST RELATIONSHIP FRIENDLY", the night porter gentleman was pleasant and hospitable. 2- SINK TAP NOT WORKING, DOOR LOCK WAS NOT WORKING- Arrived around 9pm and I wanted to take a quick wash and meet my business associated for the evening. The room sink tap was not working, Tried to call the front desk. housekeeping and the phones were ringing but no one answered. Since I knew the lady was at the desk when I checked in, I wanted to go down and personally complain , then realized that the room door was not locking, So I had to carry my bag and go down to front desk. She did not have much empathy on the situation, and said the phones are not working but she will get someone to come check. So I went back to the room and waited for few minutes but no one came to attend to the matter. Then I went back with all my belongings and requested a change of room, as I wanted to change, take a wash and meet my associates. 3- Wifi NOT WORKING- through out my stay Mon to Wed, Wifi did not work in the room, again when inquired about wifi status there was no apology, instead, I was told that it is fixed try again, or just come down to lobby it should work at the lobby.

Great Location in the center of South Beach. Beach access with chairs and towels provided. South Beach dining, shopping and nightlife….until 5:00 AM! We stayed Fri and Sat nights. Loud Club music lasted into morning’s wee hours, making restful sleep impossible. Latin beat is great for partying, but not for resting. Avoid this area if you want to sleep at night.

The staff at the Breakwater was very kind and courteous and extremely helpful.They supply bikes for you to ride on the boardwalk, which was really neat and there are restaurants on the property as well as a bar with live entertainment.And there's also surrounding excellent dining and entertainment within walkable distance
