I stayed at La Quinta for 2 Nights. Love the Area where the property is located. Lots of food areas at a walking distance Burger king, Chipotle, Papa Johns Pizza, etc, and they serve breakfast but I’ll get to the breakfast later. love the environment DONT see homeless people on the property. My Dislikes about the property is the breakfast not having much to offer and it’s the same stuff every day. They serve little muffins, bagel, waffle, along with Oatmea, and cereal. It’s the same breakfast routine and it’s gets boring not having another option. So I’m happy there was a Burger King that My Girlfriend and my self could have something different and hot. The A/C isn’t strong enough and gets hot when sleeping under the covers. The pool needs some remodeling. And when looking at La Quinta In Miami Lakes Website they say that they offer a Gym which they DO NOT.

Could benefit from remolding

Unfortunately the hotel is in poor condition overall. It would benefit from some restoration. The Elevator control panel is literally held up by electric tape to hold panels in place. Hall and room carpets are dingy and dirty and benefit of new carpeting

This place needs a major upgrade and deep cleaning. The mattresses were worn out, it felt like sleeping on the box spring with the middle sucking in. The room had an old musty smell. The bathroom was unclean, looked to have something green growing on the shower head as well as the ceiling. Like I said before…a major upgrade is needed. I booked this hotel off of reviews but I have now learned to look before booking because yall will stir you wrong.

The property is subpar, needs an extreme update. The staff for the most part was great. There is 1 of the employees that work at front desk that I would recommend go back to training. The alleged property manager Penny I would also recommend go back for a training but the hotel is franchised so they kind of go by there own rules. The price was great however umm don’t expect much
