Lexington by Hotel RL Miami Beach in Florida, while the location was convenient, the overall experience left much to be desired. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which resulted in significant construction noise during the day. The pool area was disorganized and messy, with the pool itself being extremely dirty. Additionally, the walkway to the beach was disrupted by open construction zones, making it unpleasant and unsafe to navigate. The hotel building is dated, and parking is inconvenient—situated across the street in an open lot for an additional fee. The on-site restaurant and café were unclean, with restrooms in an even worse condition. After sitting down to review the menu, we decided to leave and dine at the restaurant in the neighboring Holiday Inn, which was a much better experience. Overall, we regret staying here and would not recommend this hotel until the renovations are complete and the management addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues.

The elevators are unsafe and the doors get stuck. An employee had to force the doors open/closed. There are no signs directing you to anything. There was no food available on the premises. This hotel is NOT safe for the elderly, disabled or those with handicaps. The walls are extremely thin. Would not recommend until they finish putting this place back together.

We recommend to stay here
Some of the online comments did worry me, but I book the hotel for 4 nights in December 2024 and we were absolutely happy. The location is excellent right at the beautiful beach and a bus stop in front of the building (bus #150 to the airport, trolley stop to South Beach). Some parts of the hotel were under construction but this did no bother us and our room had all the amenities we needed. We could use deckchairs and an umbrella for free and the hotel pool was open as well. The staff was very helpful and friendly, big thanks to Hector from the front desk.

It is NOT worth the cost!
My family stayed at this hotel for one night. It was below average for us and the website does not present what we experienced. We requested the room; we asked that our children's room be close by, but they put them down in the hall and around the corner on the other side of the hotel. Then we asked for a crib for the baby which was brought up with what was washed blood-stained blankets. We asked for an oceanfront room but were put in a corner where we could only see a small portion of the ocean through the cracks in the two buildings. When we confronted the concierge, they stated, "But you can still see the ocean, right?" I wanted to leave, but my husband kept reminding me it was only one night and we could stay until the morning. The tub was half cleaned and appeared very dirty and the carpet smelled like it was recently cleaned but it had that wet carpet smell even though it was dry. When we went to the beach in the morning, there were a lot of rocks in the sand and my daughter cut her foot. We were looking for a spot to have breakfast and the concierge stated, "I suggest you go to the restaurant downstairs because the food is much better". We took her suggestion and the food in the restaurant attached to the hotel was horrible. We paid the bill but did not eat the food. We ended up double-paying because we ended up going somewhere else to eat. It was just an all-around terrible experience. Thank God for the pizza place down the street!

Overall I was happy with my stay - my room was great as it had been updated, modern and clean.Hotel parking was available for a fee but I felt it was reasonable for that area - However the hotel itself could use some serious updating - it is old and outdated - the lounge / lobby area didn't have a fresh smell - not sure if it was tobacco but it seemed stuffy. The front desk staff was excellent! friendly and very helpful. Beach access was easy -

While it’s partly refurbished, there’s still some room for improvement. Overall Clean, we were there for a very busy weekend and it’s in a very busy location which is a plus. Amazing location.
