Last time I’ll book the hotel
Hotel shower smells like mold I called days before multiple Times and tried to switch to a ocean view and was told it was done and requested early check in and was told $75 fee which I accepted since I was getting in 9am Room wasn’t ready till 12:30 pm didn’t get ocean view because the manager I spoke to didn’t make any changes to my reservation and the room I wanted was sold out .. restaurant downstairs always Empty but won’t give you table by the water because they have reservation not once was it ever taken while I ate at a different table… I use to love this hotel but after this trip I will be looking for other options when I’m in Miami no more Mondrian SB for me

The room was super spacious and the bed was comfortable. The furnishings could do with a refresh. The waterfront restaurant and bar had jaw dropping views and a great cocktail menu. But the staff and service were the best, most memorable part of my stay. From Ferdinand of the Bell desk who gave me a super warm welcome and gave me an overview of the property and local area, to the bar staff who were interesting, top notch professionals and always congenial.

Great location nice public space but several issues; rooms are tired rug falling apart and what disturbed me was that the shower had no indication which direction hot/cold is and I was constantly concerned about getting burned. Also they tell you what’s included in your resort fee like coffee in the morning etc. but you have to pay for everything!

There was a lot of potential, but the rooms didn't meet the mark for the price-point. Staff and management (Claudia) did a good job acknowledging issues and providing reasonable fixes to compensate for the shortcomings Would likely not stay again, but may visit for the restaurant and water views
