In overall I gave 5 stars because so nice hotel and territory. But the hotel needs to review the number of employees. Only the front desk and housekeeping seemed full to me, all other services need more employees. I waited for a table for breakfast because there was only one person at the counter, when I in I saw many empty tables that needed to be cleaned, so looks like not enough staffs, even I waited for coffee because my waitress was busy, also one hour waiting for a salad by the pool, because there was only one person there who could not cope with the influx of orders. Another thing that can be reviewed - limited towels at the pool area and work hours from 10-5, people come after 5pm when it’s still daytime and there are no towels. Everything besides that was great.

Terrible bar service at the pool bar. Waitress at the adult pool on the Nobu side was wonderfull and attentive. Elevators broken and the one that did work opened and closed like a sloth or snail.

Nobu is Fabu!

I absolutely love the staff of the Nobu Hotel SB—Sheldon, in particular, was outstanding! Each time I stay at this hotel, I am consistently impressed by their attention to detail and superior customer service. The rooms are lovely, best night sleep in a hotel! The added plus: Dining at Nobu is always a delight.

Hotel is very nice, bed is comfortable, toiletries are luxurious but we had to ask for everything: iron, magnifying mirror that was very weak, more coffee pods. It was always given, but it’s annoying to keep asking for it. My husband got stuck in an elevator! It was about 10-15 scary minutes. TV in the room 1435 didn’t work right and nothing was done about it. The pools had almost no sun because of a high rise next to them Only upper level pool for adults only had sun. At the end the management gave us a nice credit because of the evevator incident. But still… Restaurant Nobu was ordinary, it’s much better in NYC Breakfasts were good, but again nothing special for a 5 star hotel. Area is isolated kinda, no walking anywhere. No shops no restaurants nearby. But all in all it was a good hotel.

We loved the property and the hotel but did not like the food or our server at the Nubo Restaurant. Having never been there, we really needed guidance on what to order and our server did not put the time and effort in to help us.

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Richard at check in and he was amazing! As was the young lady with curly hair next to him I can’t remember her name. He was so helpful with an early check in, gave great food recommendations, gave us a tour and set the tone for our stay. I hope Nobu recognizes what a gem they have. The room was lovely—clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The gym was great, and I really appreciated that the pool was heated. One small issue was that the room phone didn’t work, but I honestly didn’t mind because the hotel had a texting service with about a 10-minute response time, which was super convenient. My only real complaint was with housekeeping and room service. The night before, I requested housekeeping at 8:30 AM so I could decorate the room, but by noon the next day, it still hadn’t been serviced. It finally happened around 2 PM, which was frustrating. Additionally, we requested a microwave, and it arrived with filthy plates. When we asked for replacements, they gave us plates that didn’t even fit in the microwave. Overall the stay was lovely the location was really nice, nobu has just about everything you need in or around the hotel.

Check was confusing- property was not explained to us. Service was just okay - they were very rude about wanting people out of the pool as soon as the sun went down which does not make sense for this type of property. There was no shuttle service for the area. Not a five star property.
