Immaculate, modern, jazzy hotel in a good location

Mostly happy. Initially we were given a small room with an awful view which isn't what we thought we had reserved and paid handsomely for. Were given a free upgrade which helped. Everything is super clean and spanking new. The roof top pool area and bar are lovely except that the water is way too warm for swimming in. The hotel is aiming for a 'cool' vibe which verges on the cold but still attractive. Sadly 'cool' means 'house' or techno music everywhere all the time which seemed very unnecessary and honestly annoying. Kept us away from the hotel bars. Short walk though to lots of fun restaurants on S Miami. One big 'no, no' in our views is the 'refundable' 200 dollar deposit which became 292 in Cdn dollars and we were billed twice e.g. 584 which has yet to be refunded or cancelled This hotel should be classier than that plus we may lose money on the 'buy-sell' exchange rate. One last nit, add conditioner along with the shampoo in the room.

Very nice hotel, quiet, but with a nice restaurant for breakfast and a good bar to watch the superbowl. Everyone was very accommodating. Only downside, not liable to the hotel, were all the construction works around that made Uber drivers to circle around causing delays.

Smelled great as soon as you walked in! Easy check in and check out, we were close to the train although Ubers are cheap we used the train and got to places quickly! Loved that we were right next to a Publix and brikell mall. The rooftop pool was nice only downside was I didn’t have any towels for me to grab nearby.

The good: The hotel is in a good location. Close to downtown and some nice restaurants. Walking distance to the several shops (Walgreens, Publix) The breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. Great selection but it was the same for our entire 4 day stay (not necessarily a bad thing) Room was large. Bathroom was modern and clean. Pool area was nice. Great view (except construction) Lobby looks nice. The Bad: Thin walls. We could hear everything going on in the room over as if they were in the room with us. Maybe this was because we were placed in a room that was meant to be an adjoining room (but we didn’t know the guests in the room over) The TV is not a smart tv which was disappointing. There is a lot of construction going on in view of the hotel so there is a bit of noise and the view of the city is covered.
