We loved the hotel and the staff were amazing. Rooms are small but loved the retro atmosphere. Only complaint was the beds were hard as a rock.

The property was very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I did not like the $300 security deposit that still has not been returned. Food was fairly expensive and nothing special. We were told that our wristbands were for two free drinks, but it was a buy one get one free. The drinks were 24.00 and 18.00.

Lovely clean room. Great service. The hotel staff were very courteous and the restaurant food was really good. I had a pasta dish for dinner which felt very authentic. They offer a breakfast deal for guests at an affordable price. I recomend and would stay there again

We arrived at 9am, and they set us up in a room well before check in. The room had a retro feel and was immediately welcoming, and so quiet! It was clean and we slept great! The staff was very accommodating filling our water bottles for our trip to the cruise ship. There is a long line of hotels on the Miami Beach strip, but The Pelican won’t do you wrong if you stay there! - they offered a free afternoon drink, and our perfect $10 breakfast was hand delivered by the cook. So nice!

The Pelican Hotel was an amazing stay right in the middle of all the action. Wendell was especially nice and look after my sister and I our entire stay. I thought the rooms were clean and well apportioned. The space was not huge but we didn’t expect that for the location. Plus we spent most of our time walking around to the different bars, restaurants, and shops just feet away. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant in the morning which was delicIous and affordable. I went for a run along the ocean path and my sister used nearby Citi Bikes to run errands. As a woman who often travels solo, I felt safe here too. Highly recommend!

The best Hotel experience we have ever experienced. Incredible friendly and fun staff. Perfect location with beach access and right in the centre of the South Beach action. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The restaurant and balcony are the perfect place to relax or enjoy company of friends family or have fun with the staff.
