We had issues with hot water, we communicated with reception and they asked us to turn on the shower and wait 15 minutes, we waited 30 minutes and got no help, we called again and they said they would notify maintenance, we had no shower and the only option was a cold shower, asked again the next morning and still had to wait.

The hotel is in a great location on Collins Ave. The free breakfast was good and the staff at the front desk helpful. The bellboys were also helpful. We received a free upgrade to a penthouse room which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.

We had 24 hours in Miami before leaving on a cruise and made the best decision to spend it in South Beach and stay at the President Hotel! Not new but super clean property. Welcome drink at the hotel bar upon arrival. Rooftop pool. Just one block walk to Ocean Blvd where there are dozens of hotels/restaurants/bars includingThe Carlyle (the movie Birdcage). We had a great time walking Ocean Blvd, sidewalk seating for drinks and dinner, walk on Miami Beach. Would definitely stay here again!
