Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
Pros:
- All the hotel staff were nice and helpful except for one woman mentioned below in the cons
- A short 10-min walk to the beach
- Close to restaurants
- Clean room and facilities (except for lobby couches)
Cons:
- They call it a hotel, Expedia gives you the price total price including taxes and fees, but when you show up they tell you it's a resort and charge you a daily $34 resort fee. This was not mentioned on their listing when we booked
- The reception woman who checked us in on Sat, Feb 22, 2025 in the afternoon was very rude and had n attitude the in all our interactions. She was annoyed that I asked for beach towels! All other staff were nice. We went out of our way to avoid her.
- The room (2 queen for 2 adults and 1 child) was very small. No room to place a suitcase, no chair, no desk, tiny mini fridge for minibar only. All you get is a bed and a bathroom.
- The TV in the room wasn't working properly and the rude woman ignored our request to send someone to fix it. She said she would.
- The water pressure was so weak in the bathroom, but maybe this is a Miami thing?
- There is one elevator, and it was so slow, not even worth taking during housekeeping or check-in/out times. (we were on the 4th floor).
- There are two children-size pools (3-4.6 ft deep). Nice for children but not for adults swimming. The water was cold in Feb because they are not heated.
- They have tables and chairs in front of the hotel on the street, that are always "reserved".
