I can't believe that I paid over $900 for a two night stay at this hotel. The first room that I was given was old, old, old, particularly the bathroom. I asked to be given an updated room and was shown two, both on the first floor. The first overlooked the parking lot, the second a roof where, if I really looked hard, I could see the ocean. I chose the second. The bathroom, while updated, had a cracked tissue box holder, a chip in the bathtub, brown grout around the tub and, a sink faucet handle that hit the shelf above it. Doesn't anyone check these things? And, at over $300 a night for the room, could they spring for a Keurig and something other than powdered "creamer"? Overall, it was old and dreary. Maybe this hotel was in its heyday 50 years ago. Not now.
