We arrived early 10am & had to sit in the courtyard with our luggage until 1pm as they do not offer a lock up for the luggage so we could get some lunch.Then we were directed to go out the back gate make a right then a left & go to the next bldg We were not offered any help with our 4 pcs of luggage We are both in our 80's We had to drag it across gravel areas past the dumpsters & down 1/4 block to the entrance of the 2nd bldg. The room was very clean but the cleaners they used were so strong we had to leave the door open for a long period to clear the smell as it would have triggered my Asthma Once inside we noticed no phone so no connection with the 24/7 front desk so no emergency contact if necessary It was a kitchen suite so had a microwave a coffee pot & dishes However, not even a complimentary pkg of coffee No Tea towels but dish soap Two bath towels 2 face clothes but no hand towels The TV was mounted on the wall parallel to the bed but no adjustment to angle it to watch from the bed other than laying on your side They had a dresser one scoop chair but no table to sit at if you did have a meal In the morning we went to the desk to call for transport to the Airport as they do not offer a shuttle If it had not been for the young man who was also a guest there helping this Canadian set up an Uber pick up we would have paid a horrendous price for a taxi He also came back to the room & helped us take our bags to the Uber NEVER AGAIN charges a premium price/no service

location is excellent. but this is a budget motel. room was not cleaned well. bathroom was janky. the beds were comfortable but the ac is loud the fridge is always running. the overall property needs attention. THE CHECK IN IS CONFUSING AND UNORGANIZED. YOU SHOULD CERIFY YOUR RESERVATION PRIOR TO ARRIVING. MYSELF AND ALMOST EVERYONE WHO WALKED IN TO CHECK IN WAS MET WITH NEW INFORMATION OR CHANGES UNANNOUNCED. THE STAFF SEEMS TO THINK ITS A GOOD PROCESS BUT IT IS NOT. THEY ALL START WITH I THINK YOUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN CANCELED AMD THEN YOU FIND OUT IT WAS CHANGED. THIS IS UNSETTLING WHEN YOUR TRAVELING. the price is cheap and that’s what you get. beach is two blocks tons of places to eat and hang.

The room smelled like mold, it had a faucet that didn’t work correctly so there was the sound of splashing water every second. The only good thing was the staff that was professional and very helpful.

The situation with having to check-in in another building and having to walk to park your vehicle was not great. Plus, one of the keys did not work. OK for the price. Took advantage of the free public transportation, trolley, and it worked great. There was also many shops and restaurants nearby.
