Booked a month out. The day before my reservation, we were emailed that the pool would be closed. That’s the main reason we booked this place. Management did nothing to remedy the situation. The hotel is also very old looking. Pics online aren’t representative of what you see in person. Wouldn’t stay again.

Overall enjoyed my stay at The Alden. But there are a few things that can be improved. 1. Access to water, unless you’re cool with drinking the sink water or paying $6 at the first floor bar/restaurant. A water bottle filling station would have been real nice. 2. Making the unit entry doors not slam shut for everyone. Since this is close to South Beach and all the late night partyers. I woke up a few times to people slamming their doors. Otherwise, great hotel to stay at, beautiful interior fit out from lobby to unit. Maybe just make sure both color lights on the outside work to bring it all together. Really big plus to this hotel is you’re about a block away from the beach.

Good amount of space in the room and a great restaurant downstairs in Bar Luca. Also good position for trolley and bus stops, including the Big Bus (their #4 stop) on Collins Avenue. Would look to return on my next visit,

My friend, who checked in earlier today, picked up the room keys since I was arriving late at 12am. When I arrived, she wasn’t at the hotel due to a personal matter. To make things worse, another couple informed me that no one had been at the front desk for about 30 minutes. With my friend still 30 minutes away, I couldn’t check in or go rest in my room. This level of service is incredibly unprofessional. It is extremely concerning that no one is currently available at the front desk, especially considering your website states that front desk service is available 24/7. This lack of service is unacceptable and disappointing.

The room was very small and bathroom was even smaller. The sink was so tiny that you barely could brush your teeth’s without spilled water on the floor. I could not recommend this hotel! Sorry!

A sure choice for Miami Beach
Super clean room ; triple bunk bed. Nice location near the beach and in front of the free miami beach trolley ; Near the action but far enough away to enjoy moments of calm ; especially at night. Perfect for a friends getaway.
