Decent stay - nothing special

If you’re going to a concert or event at the Hard Rock stadium, this hotel is definitely the closest but it’s just average. A few positives are the breakfast (9th floor with a nice view and good options) as well as needing a room key to access the elevator (although I’m fairly certain you could access rooms using the stairs without a room key). The room itself was big enough and it was clean. However, if not a lot of people are staying there it could take awhile for hot water. The “city view” rooms don’t really overlook the city, but rather the highway and the highway noise is fairly significant (bring earplugs or use white noise app if light sleeper). A major negative for us was the $15/night extra resort fee. While I understand some people might want to play mini golf or use the pool, we didn’t and we were still charged for those. Why not just lower (or eliminate the fee) and have people pay for services that they are actually using? Also it’s not as though the pool was anything special- it seemed small and was a regular pool. Also only open from dawn to dusk (probably trying to minimize partying). The hotel does offer an in house restaurant open Thursday through Sunday but if you’re there any other day or want something other than burgers and tenders, you’re going to need a car, and there is a lot of fast food places nearby.

What Hotel does not have complimentary Coffee for their guests in the lobby.This Hotel has a coffee machine where you have to purchase coffee,they try to get every nickel they can from you.

Entering the property was confusing using Maps as there is only one way to enter. The hotel lobby and room were very nice. Well kept and clean. Staff was friendly. I think they could use better signage as to the elevator as we accidently got into the "janitor" elevator and the security guard let us then finally came and told us "wrong elevator". Beds were cozy. It was noisy. There were motorcycles in the parking lot and we heard them all night AND it sounded like people talking on our "balcony" all night.

When I first arrived a male staff member knocked once on the room door then just walked in while I was changing my clothes on the other side of the room. Luckily my boyfriend was with me and handled it but I worry that if I was alone I would have been unsafe. The staff member said we reported the sink not working but we had just checked in and did not report anything. I checked in to the room by myself so I think they assumed I was alone and could have had bad intentions.

Easy check in process, friendly staff, rooms very clean and beds very comfortable. The hotel is a little dated for my taste, but I find that with most American hotels. Breakfast could do with a few more options but not bad for a continental breakfast. Would stay here again.

Hotel is oriented next to a busy wide toll road and several secondary roads which creates noisy rooms. Bed pillows and bedding are soft and thin. Entrance to hotel is confusing and difficult to access. Hotel restaurant is over priced and service is poor. The hotel stands alone in an area that is run down. On the positive side. There is plenty of parking & security guard doing routine patrols. Cleanliness is good, staff is helpful and friendly. Good pressure and hot water in room bath.
