First time staying at TRU and it was a great experience overall. Always looked forward to breakfast, great service by Ona who is always on the go. Our room spotless when they would clean and smelled so good in the hotel. No complaints. To our surprise they offered free laundry and we just needed to buy our detergent. Would def recommend. Very convenient for us due to surgery. Walking distance to surgery center and food. Great stay!

We only stayed for the day as we had just got off a cruise and had a late flight… The staff at check-in when we showed up super early ( 9am) in the morning were very helpful and allowed us to check in early, which was a lifesaver. I didn’t catch the persons name who checked us in but they were absolutely fabulous! They don’t have day rates, but we didn’t care to pay a full overnight rate as we were there for at least eight hours. I don’t know if I’d want to stay here overnight as the AC is a wall unit and is very very very loud when it’s running. The rooms are a bit musty and felt damp but the beds are super comfortable. The room was very clean. Great shower. The pool area has no shade, but the pool itself is in good condition. They have free breakfast in the morning. It’s subpar at best. But there is something for everyone.

Good location, decent price

Catching the shuttle from the airport was difficult. The driver passed by too fast and didn't see me trying to wave him down as there is no particular meeting point for pick up. Check in was easy and fast. The crowd at the hotel looked like a Carnival cruise ship. The buffet was adequate with scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, coffee, juices. The room felt a bit humid, the bed was comfortable but the top comforter had a design on it making it uncomfortable. Housekeeping service is every other day, elevators are a bit slow. Overall for the price and location near the airport its ok.

Great hotel but faulty toilet

The hotel itself is nice and clean plus the location was nice being close walking distance to restaurants and a supermarket. Breakfast is great! However our toilet did not well and we reported it. They said that they sent someone to fix but we were out most of the day and when we returned, the problem was still there

Hotel was very clean and the breakfast was good. They even had fresh fruit for the yogurt and waffles. Staff at front desk overcharged us one additional room. Maybe she was new because she seemed confused. Hotel was nice for the price.

Hotel Hell

Room was not available. When we finally received our room there weren’t enough towels for 4 people. 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper, pillows were flat, no hair dryer. Meal in the restaurant took 2 hours to be served after ordering. Went to front desk for assistance 5 times and they said we’re working on it. My last trip to front desk, in my pajamas, I refused to leave without toilet paper and towels. They finally brought 2 pillows to the room in a plastic bag. They left it in front of the door and ran. Both pillows smelled like a cat peed on them. Last thing was we paid a $12 deposit for transportation to the Miami cruise port and the transport never arrived. The front desk would not refund our $12. If they were my employees, they would all be fired!! I am requesting a full refund.

We stayed two nights after a cruise arrived early they let us store our bags. The part that was frustrating for us was they advised a three check in so when I tried did not get in til 4 they did offer at 3 to change us too two double beds I was with my wife and that’s not what I booked. Rest of the stay was good hotel in good condition.
