The hotel has its own beach which is good. The room service is slow indeed, we called to fix the television remote control, no one came to help us until we check out.

Nice hotel, there were no perks. The typical online listed checkin was 4. Was told I would be texted if my room was available earlier, which I never got any texts. I went to stand in line for check in at 350, literally stood there at the desk and she didn’t give me my room key until 4:01. Just seems petty and tacky. Why say there’s perks when there are no perks. Fail.

I loved the security of the keycard access to my specific floors. The hotel is in a becoming-trendy area across from Miami-Dade college, with walking access to Bayside Marketplace. I later found Starbucks in that market. Did not like: no room service on Thanksgiving, pool is not an inviting, welcome swim—too trendy as artwork. Gym is a joke for women- no cycles. Did not access the beach, it’s not a direct access but a partner hotel has the access.

It has everything - microwave, oven, fridge, sink. The layout of the room is brilliant too. The swiveling TV is excellent that you can watch from the bed or from the sofa.
