There is nightclub in the courtyard of the hotel. Noise was very significant late into the evening. Yes, it is in Miami. Yes, it was a Saturday night. But no, it was not mentioned in the listing that sleep would not be an option until after midnight. Neighboring hotels - some of which I could have booked instead - looked very similar but did *not* have a nightclub blasting music all night. The room was described as a “garden level” room. It was, in reality, in an atrium and immediately adjacent to a sketchy looking garage with access to the street. The door to said sketchy garage was wide open. The door to our room was a flimsy glass slider.

Loved the pool, and roof too deck is awesome. When I arrived they told me my wine was in the room. Day four I gave up after asking a few times and them saying I’ll let you know. Cleaner was excellent but couldn’t communicate with us because of a language barrier. Don’t try to do early check in. Will not get it.

My family and I had a decent stay. Our room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and it was priced better than most other hotels in the area and it was just one block from the beach. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, affordable and walkable location. Some repairs were needed in the room (toilet paper holder falling off wall, shower door handle broken, no place to hang a towel, and we could hear street noise)

Property location was great and close to the beach without paying the high prices. The VIP amenities we never received any of them. They acknowledged it but never gave us. Furniture in room too big for the room and the mini bar was drastically over priced. Very beautiful outside. Didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool or facilities.

The Fairwinds was so fun. We had a room facing the restaurant and music in the courtyard. They have live dancers on the weekend and it is a fun and tasteful atmosphere. The mattress was kind of saggy, but the room was big enough for two of us and the staff was always available and helpful to cater to our needs.

When we checked in, they were late and made us wait in the lobby. We were given a late checkout to compensate (1pm). On our last day, the very rude and entitled Nick, the “house keeping manager” expelled us from the room at 11:35am with a very threatening attitude.
