Private beach access is why I booked this hotel over anything else. Did not disappoint. Staff is amazing, hotel is clean and safe and the beach access is amazing. Perfect for a solo traveler, couples or families.

Pros: Comfy beds Quiet Fantastic beach Outstanding beach access right on boardwalk Not overwhelming Could walk to restaurants and stores Convenient parking across street Clean for the most part Beautiful view from rooftop Super friendly beach attendant Cons: Weird smell in hallway and lobby Small room and we had an “oversized” one Minimal bathroom counter space Hardly any storage space for clothes No microwave and very tiny fridge Jacuzzi tub did not work Drinks at bar were not good Stained hallway floors looked gross Pool was unusable, not heated, way too cold Stained beach towels provided The beach was the highlight for sure, but I’m surprised this property is so highly rated. We wouldn’t go back. The boutique hotel concept is nice but this one needs some work.

Bed and pillow are very comfy. Room is small and musty. No side windows as it’s a tiny hotel with a huge bldg on each side. Breakfast good, pool and beach magnificent. Lots to eat outside acc walkable.

It’s a beautiful location. 150 dollars for a security deposit for one night. Didn’t like that. Nice room, had a jacuzzi. Worked well. Another con was they like to burn up your security deposit money, with fees like parking, hotel fee etc. it’s been 7 days since my stay and the rest of the security deposit has not been released to my account. I don’t like hotels that play games like this. So that’s why I gave them 3 stars.

The place was a little hidden gem tucked away in between two larger and much more expensive hotels. The swimming pool is definitely one of a kind and the rooftop restaurant topped the cake off with a amazing breakfast.

Good but Beware of pool deck construction

This is right on the beach and a good hotel for the money. Felt like it was just redone. Very nice beach surface and chairs. But the room was small and musty smelling. Very friendly/helpful staff! But the main elevator was broken so you had to walk up six steps, go down the hall and then down six steps to get to the back elevator. And they were doing loud pool deck construction right in the middle of the day that ruined the vibe at the pool and the restaurant. I was only there one & 1/2 days in the sawing and hammering ruined the main day (too windy to relocate to beach.) So that was unfortunate. Restaurant closes at 5pm FYI. But I might still stay again if I could confirm no construction and the price was right.

Staff is soooooo rude. My daughter had a handicap and you have to walk between the buildings at night to the back door to get to the elevator and they have to let you in. Staff said we could have extra time at checkout to which the daytime person WILLIAM said no get out it’s a $60 charge and the night manager didn’t have permission to tell you to have an extra hour in the morning. Also parking is across the street in a terrible dark parking lot and it’s def park and walk at your own risk. Hard pass on this motel they try and pass off as a “boutique”. It’s old and gross. ALSO THE ELEVATORS DONT work and when asked why the worker said they are pure rust!! Omg

MB was a nice place to stay. The room and overall facility was very clean. We had a street-side balcony room which was nice to sit out in the evening. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and Cuban coffee! The pool and beach area were BEAUTIFUL!!! Little pieces of coral in the ocean waters you could dive down and get. Very nice
