The staff was great but it's time to do some renovation. The hotel is very dated, many places the wall paper is coming off the walls. The lighting in the room is very inconvenient. I dropped an ice cube on the floor and when I wiped up the melted water with a white towel the towel was instantly brown from the dirt. This was a surprise for a Ritz-Carlton. I liked the experience and staff but for the money I feel there are definitely more updated options.

It was a nice hotel and a great suite for us and our baby. The restaurant was great and the pool area was really nice. The staff around the pool were very helpful. The hotel is a bit dated, you can see the beach bar needs some love. Although right on the beach and close to good restaurants the location isn’t the greatest, a bit noisy, dirty and a lot of locals and tourists right outside the front doors. The Ritz Carlton staff are the consummate professionals. My room was luxurious and glamorous. The amenities are top-notch. The hotel is beautiful and richly appointed. The pool area is relaxing and beautiful. My next trip to South Beach will be to The Ritz Carlton, South Beach. I highly recommend this hotel.
