Me and my girlfriend stayed 2 nights over the weekend. Upon getting into the room we were immediately greeted with the smell of cigarettes (non smoking room). We stuck it out and didn’t complain as it wasn’t a huge deal. After looking around in the room we noticed the walls were completely dirty and had multiple colored substances on them. On night 2 we were laying in the bed when we seen a bug crawling around on it. We killed the bug and 5 minutes later noticed a spider on the head board. We killed that too. Later that night at around 2 a.m we noticed a stuck bug crawling around on the wall and ceiling of the room. We killed that as well and whilst killing that we noticed another dead one on a light fixture in the room that was also extremely dusty. We then call down to the front desk to ask to get another room as we were pretty disgusted. When we call they said we have no rooms and they hung up right away in our face. We sucked it up and went to bed and checked out the next morning. When we checked out we mentioned the issues and were given a card to call the general manager. When we called the manager I listed the issues that we had and she seemed annoyed and like she didn’t want to listen to what I said. She then told me she had to speak with the person whose name was on the reservation and when my girlfriend called she was met with hostility. The general manager (Kimberly) said to her well you guys stayed 2 nights. The room was gross and not worth it. DONT RECOMMEND.

Upon checking in, the front desk clerk was no where to be found and I had to wait at least five minutes for her to show up at the front desk. She was very rude and abrupt with her check in questions. When she was finished with me she disappeared again and other guests came in and were left unattended. Not a very welcoming experience to the hotel.

On our check in day we had chose a spa tub in room, was not the case at all was a regular tub and the water would barely get lukewarm. Our tv remote is missing the back cover the ottoman in the king suite in front of pullout couch and we have what appears to be blood stains. Our included breakfast we were told someone had took all the food they had for the day prior to 9am. We killed a cockroach in our bathroom along with the water continually dripped which that was fixed during our stay.

olivia at the front desk the only positive about the hotel. pictures not at all accurate of condition of hotel. I expected the hotel to be old and worn from previous stay around 10 years ago but not this bad.

The staff was friendly. The surrounding area had enough eating options. The beach wasn't too far. Hotel room was outdated and not very clean, also dim. The gym equipment was ancient- the treadmill, setting was on manual but would randomly speed up. No water or towels in the dispenser or towel rack in the gym. First time I've been unhappy with a Wydham property.

We arrived a little after 8pm and were given the room 118. We were woken up by the preparations for the breakfast, also the noise was very loud while people were getting their breakfast. Not a restful evening.

First room, the door was broken. Second room was NOT clean and had mold (I have pictures). Third room was ok but there was no remote to our TV. We eventually got one. The pool was a hot mess(Sunday) due to some sort of "party" there and we couldn't use it due to the amount of kids in there(besides mine) and the mess that they left. The front desk staff was great through this all.

Single Queen Bed Room - small but everything you need: bed, bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, TV, desk, AC. The room and bathroom were clean. It was quiet to sleep, no loud road noises. A good value if going to the Lake Michigan Beaches or outlet shopping. Staff were friendly. Breakfast service lacked variety or supplies. Out of coffee creamer. Next door is a gas station and Walmart. If you are particular about breakfast eat out or bring your own.

We could not flush our toliet because when we woke up Saturday morning the water was almost overflowing. Called downstairs they said they no manager on duty till Monday. Maintenance was not available until 9am. They brought us towels to our room in case the toilet overflowed. We left to go find breakfast because it was very nasty down where the free breakfast was, so many people. We went and ate, I realized I had forgot to take my medicine. When I got back to hotel, no one had still been there to unclog the toliet. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, the bathtub was gross with black sludge around handle in the tub and the drain. Very dirty in corners of our bathroom and the room. The air conditioner was gross. We went down to get new key cards because we couldn’t get in our room when we got back Saturday night. A man was very upset because he had 2 small children and went to Walmart and bought some food to make in the microwave and he said his microwave did not work. The gal working at the front desk that evening was very rude with him. She told him there were no extra microwaves. He could’ve had ours. She did give us a new keys and we were able to get in our room. I have several pictures. I took of the inside of our room and bathroom. When we left on Sunday, Olivia that worked there was very kind and brought us a card with the managers name. She kept apologizing. There needs to be more workers like her. I have lots of pictures I took. And I hope to hear from someone.
