I stay at this hotel a lot. Unfortunately, this time the AC was not working properly in the room that I was in and we slept in 76°. Uncomfortable. They did offer to move us to another room but I had already unpacked. wake up the next morning to take a shower and the hairdryer in the room did not work. Also had trouble getting through to room service. Usually everything is fine.

This is a unique historical hotel with thoughtfully designed and comfortably modern renovations. We loved our one night stay in the spacious yet cozy room. We explored the hotel, had a drink and food at the wonderful bar, and enjoyed a Texas-size breakfast in the restaurant. Felt luxurious for a very reasonable cost.
