The description of this place was very misleading. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and atmosphere were disappointing. The restaurant area was unsanitary โ€” one employee was handling food and money with the same gloves, and another was breading chicken while using his phone, touching both the screen and the food. The odor was terrible, resembling that of a toilet, and the shared kitchen was dirty and smelled bad as well. We also chose this location for the hot tub and onsite cafรฉ, but the hot tub required an additional $20 per person per day, which was not clearly stated in advance. At night, the property was very noisy, with large groups of teenagers running on the connected deck walkways and through the gravel late into the night. We ended up โ€œembracing the suckโ€ for two nights since a refund was not an option, but the experience was nothing like what was advertised. Overall, this felt much more like a hostel than a lodge โ€” not at all as described online.
