This lodging was in a good location for hiking Baxter State Park. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. It was a bit outdated but it had everything that we needed.

The property is outdated but clean and well taken care of. Staff are very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is adequate. Given that it’s the highest rated place in the area, this was my second time staying here and had a similar experience both times. A clean budget hotel that’s a bit dated. In a place with more options I’d probably opt for something else for the price but it works great for trips to Baxter State Park and I’d stay here again.

We were visiting Baxter State Park and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of camping. Baxter Park Inn was the perfect solution! Comfy beds, lots of space for our stuff, a mini fridge in our room for beverages, nice sheets, hot shower. There was a microwave in the room, which can help with late night dinners. The town kind of shut down around 9 o’clock for food. And after a long day on the trail, you need a little bit more than rollers at the gas station. We did not make use of the continental breakfast, but the coffee was good :-)
