Huzzah! Hotel fit for a king near the Ren Faire

We stayed here because it was in Bristol near the Renaissance Faire, and D's Barn, a bar/gaming center, is just 2 miles away! The room was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom with an actual shower door. Breakfast was excellent, a step above the usual included breakfast fare, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just one pro tip: the room thermostat was hidden behind a lamp and we had to ask how to turn down the AC. Will stay again!

Overall, this is a good hotel and our stay was very pleasant. There were just two things that disappointed us about this hotel. 1.) The pool was closed when we were there. They said it was for 'maintenance'. But this seems to occur way too often with hotels now and we suspect that the staff is trying to avoid the extra work of cleaning or maintaining the pool area, so they close it down claiming "maintenance" issues. Please don't advertise the pool on your website if you are unable to make it available for guests. If there really was a problem with the pool, I apologize for our suspicion. 2.) We're not fans of watching the rabid hatred and ridiculous conspiracy theories spewed out on Fox News on the giant TV in the lobby/dining area. I don't want anyone's politics rammed down my throat while I'm trying to enjoy my breakfast in the morning. Let me enjoy my vacation. In spite of the hotel's choice of "entertainment", the free breakfast offered by the hotel was very nicely done with a lot of delicious options. We appreciated the breakfast staff's efforts to keep the food fresh, hot, and fully stocked. The rest of the hotel staff was very freindly and attentive and the hotel was quiet and clean. We would consider staying there again.

The check in went smoothly and room was spacious, comfort bed and sheets, many dining options around the property and not far from the harbor / lakefront of Kenosha, must try the weekend market and enjoy the walk along the harbor , beautiful view of Lake Michigan and lots of vendors , I truly enjoy the weather and the nature of Kenosha, a hidden gem of Wisconsin

Great place for the price

Staying for a weekend baseball tournament. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was mostly clean- bathroom could use a little more attention. Temperature was very inconsistent- seems to have a motion sensor or something so only stays cool while we were up moving around- once we went to sleep the room got too warm and was uncomfortable to sleep. Breakfast was what I’d expect from a hotel free breakfast- nothing fancy but no complaints.
