Booked this specific hotel because of its EV chargers, but they didn’t work. When we asked staff they just said “not sure, must not work.” They said they would contact the manager but not sure if they ever did, because the issue was not resolved. Gave us keys to check into a dirty room (looked like someone was still spending time there). We had booked a king and this was a 2 queen room. In addition, staff never apologized for the miscommunication, just gave us a different room that wasn’t much better. Main light in room didn’t work, only the lamps. No kleenex in bathroom, just the empty tissue box. TV was not working, had to reset ourselves & had broken pixels in the screen (2-3), which made the image come in differently. Overall, not a great experience. I was highly disappointed.

Overall great experience
The hotel is large and welcoming. Plenty of parking. The room was clean. The bed comfortable. The bathroom was good. One issue - the shower hot water took a very long time to get hot. The breakfast area was very spacious and tidy. The food choices were very good.

I had a 6 day stay house keeping never came to my room even after I requested service. The elevator was from the 1920's the grounds were barely shoveled & salted. The worst low budget breakfast ever. The hotel itself wasn't bad just the lazy staff & poor house keeping practices.

All was great aside from the water taking a while to warm up, but most likely because of the use of hot water at the time of use. Lobby was not packed and food was fresh and area clean and clear. Staff greeted very well and attended all needs. They also have self service mini snacks and cold drinks selection that you can purchase yourself with self checkout. Gym was awesome and the pool clean all around.

COLD shower
NO hot water. Breakfast was good, overall property was fine. Very old building that they've put a fresh face on. Would have recommended it BUT the cold shower totally killed it for me!

I suspect this is under new ownership. Updates are in process. It wasn’t as clean or well maintained as I’d hoped. A little noisy with doors connecting 2 rooms. Nice big breakfast room. Great staff. Interesting dining in the area, with 3 African restaurants!
