Great stay near MOA

It was a good stay. I've stayed at a competitor, about a block away, 4 times, but will be switching to here from now on. We were given connecting rooms, which was great for our situation. My request for a close room for the two handicapped individuals was honored too. I guess my suggestions would be... allow the room temp to be lower and constant fan for white noise to sleep, and a bin for recycling in the rooms for eco-friendliness. There is a shuttle to the mall, which is great.

We came later to our room, around 1000pm. When we entered the room it was hot and muggy. We quickly learned the ac wasn’t working. Called front desk waited a half hour. No one came to look at it. Called again requesting a new room. The front desk seemed highly irritated I was calling and become short and snippy. I pointed out that it is cooler outside than it is in my room. No luck they were full. I requested a fan. Another half hour went by and the maintenance man delivered a fan and offered to look at the hvac system. At the point we thanked him but just wanted to go to bed. We are pretty sure at least part of the problem was how dirty the filter was. We have stayed here three times in the last month and had great stays. The soap dispensers in the shower were not attached to the wall. However, if this has been our first stay it would have been our last. I feel bad for whoever has room 208 today.

I cannot say enough, good things about this hotel. The free shuttle to in front of the airport was great. the friendly staff went above and beyond to help answer all of our questions the easy access to Mall of America did not even require us to take the shuttle even though we could. It had a walkway right across the street that led right into the mall. Restaurants very close but for breakfast you don’t even need to leave the hotel because it was more than enough! Rooms were very clean and the occasional airplane sound never bothered us at all! The price was very economical compared to other hotels in the area and they are no closer than this one to the mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody coming to Minneapolis!

It appears they tried to remodel the rooms but the carpet, furniture, and linen were nasty and they did not cover up the old paint and holes very well. Some dispensers were up in the shower and others were sat on the counter. Not horrible but definitely needs work!

Pierre at the front desk was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, professional and mad my 10 year old grandson feel important celebrating his birthday trip. He even got home and told his mom Pierre gave me a ticket for 4 ice creams. It’s the little things that count.

Great stay!

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was large, clean and nicely located. Walked to the Mall of America for dinner last night and caught an early flight out. Drove to the airport (7 min drive) but there is a shuttle service offered from the hotel to the airport.

This was our third stay and the accommodations were good. Staff is friendly, however it took two requests before the shower chair was finally dropped off. (2nd request was pretty quick). The night front desk were super loud so don't stay in 108 if someone will be sleeping on the sofa bed. Breakfast is good with a large selection. Great access to the Mall of America. Frequest shuttles to the O'Hare. I would recommend it.

Excellent family option for hotel!

Had a great time at the country inn! Perfect walking distance to the mall. I loved the breakfast options and having two restaurants on site- TGIF and IHOP allowed food even late nights. Service was excellent. Fridge and microwave in the rooms. Would definitely recommend for value! Not fancy but great location!
