It was under construction, so they were busy painting and drywalling stuff on the first floor. The bed was not as soft as I would’ve liked it, but it was comfortable.

Great Stay!
Our stay was great! We were in town for an event at the Mall of America, so the location was perfect. We had kids with, and the pools and hot tubs were excellent. We enjoyed the immediate proximity to two different restaurants. It was SO NICE to not have to go outside in the winter with kids to eat dinner! The hotel was undergoing some cosmetic work, as there was painters tape down our hallway, but the paint odor was not overwhelming or enough to even be a bother. The room was clean and spacious. My ONLY complaint would be that the heat was a little tough to manage. The room was chilly, even though the thermostat was set to heat, and we couldn't get it to warm up much. But, the hotel had high ceilings and it is wintern in MN, so I would say both were factors. We already decided to book this hotel for an event this spring and next year for this event too, along with the other family we were with!

The staff were awesome. The bed was very comfortable. We tool advantage of both restaurants that were attached to the motel as well as the shuttle service to the Mall of America. Will stay there again.
