What happened to the waffles?

Safe Refuge

We only stayed the one night after our flight was canceled, checking in to grab a few hours of sleep and a quick shower. Our check-in was extremely easy - the woman at the front desk was friendly and ensured we had a spot on the shuttle in the morning, in time for our flight. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet- everything we could hope for.

Paid in advance for room with walk in shower for safety of my husband who has impairment and balance issues. Arrived at 1:00 am from airport to find they gave room with walk in shower to another party. VERY bad practice on paid in advance room! They said, well we oversold (a typical process). They did appease somewhat by giving me points to use on future room - but if my husband had fallen and hurt himself -they would have a much bigger problem to deal with.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our grandson left his blanket and hopefully housekeeping will find it. There was road construction so getting there was a hassle but no fault of hotel.

The two employees that checked us in, we’re very friendly and informative, and let us know of all the amenities that we had, and also accommodated us by putting those right by the door, because of one of the visitors, having limited mobility, the room was very clean supply with dove products did not Have any odd smells or anything?

The hotel is nice and all but the pool had really high chlorine levels where it burn my eyes and expect to pay a $100 security deposit plus $15 a day for parking
