Foyer was dirty, both entrances constantly smelled like weed. The continental breakfast was “down” for the duration of our stay, not sure how fruit and cereal can “not be working”. Our room’s window not only didn’t close but you could just push the pane out which left our room very cold at night, and our bathroom door neither closed nor locked. Will never come back, and actively encourage our friends and family to avoid.

We stayed here to get a shuttle to the airport for an early flight. We checked in quite late and were told both king rooms were reserved were not available. It’s not a big deal that we had the double queens, but I have a suspicion they didn’t have the king rooms anyway. When we requested a 4am shuttle for two people, we were told it was full (our bad on not making a reservation in advance) and we could take a 3am shuttle as they only run in the hour. We accepted and went to sleep for a few hours. We also accepted a wake up call at 2:15 and was called at 2:30. We were in the lobby at 2:45 as requested by the front desk and waited. About 3:05 the shuttle wasn’t there and it turns out the front desk didn’t call the shuttle until just before 3. The shuttle arrived about 3:30 or so. We were plenty early for our flight, but our experience at this hotel was a little frustrating. The room itself was nice and clean, but the lobby and hallways were very much in need of a good vacuuming. I would not stay here again.

We booked this stay February 28 the same day as our stay, because of a fair price and the booking said it included a breakfast, which we had enjoyed other times. When we went down for the 7:00 AM breakfast the next morning March 1, we were told they do not do it anymore. But the website which gave the price, room choices, etc. stated an included breakfast. False advertising! We asked for a compensation which was denied.

If you're normal, stay away.

They charged my card $100 for a deposit that I did not sign for nor was I informed of. They told me I would get it back in 7 business days. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they told me he's off on Sunday. I've stayed at much better places without being charged a deposit? What if I didn't have $100 to cover it? The hallways smelled like heavy cigarette smoke one minute and Cheech and Chong smoke the next. People's belongings were left in the hallway all night. There were loud midnight conversations outside of my room while I was trying to sleep. The magnetic keys would work on the outside doors, but not the room door. There was no security personnel on site even though they are clearly needed. I felt like I rented a Housing Project room for the night.

I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen beds and when we arrived I was told they didn't have any of those rooms. The room we ended up staying in had cockroaches. Online they said there was a breakfast yet in the morning we were told that there is no longer any breakfast.

Stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. Both Saturday and Sunday morning there was nothing for breakfast except English muffins. Milk, both juices and water was empty. All the other food plates and mini fridge were empty. Even the coffee was cold.

I have stayed in some not great places in Minneapolis but for the price this place was great. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Good location for the airport, mall of america etc. The breakfast was basic but I didnt starve.

Cheap price so I got what I paid for. Looked like a lot of people just “lived” in this type of motel. Smelled like pot. Property falling apart. Had airport shuttle and was near airport, so that was why I booked room. Animal friendly, but there was a dog barking constantly, super loud, got no rest before or after my flight. Find somewhere else! Pay a few more bucks.

I booked La Quinta for the shuttle specifically and the fair price. I’ve traveled many places and this isn’t the cheapest option compared to quality that I’ve experienced. I would not pay more than $30 a night. The shuttle driver “disappeared” according to staff after his first appt so he never came and we have to pay for a Lyft. That’s my main issue. Secondly; the entire hotel must be mold infested by the looks of all the water leaks and broken, falling down ceilings/wallpaper. The furniture, bed included were disgusting. Fingerprints all over the headboard. Tables. Etc. “breakfast included” was also another item listed. Fair enough if you want an English muffin, toast, oatmeal or cereal. No fruit. No hot food. No cold food. Just save yourself the hassle and don’t book here.
