The online photos of this hotel are misleading. At check-in, I was surprised with a $10 per day parking fee. The main entrance was dirty, with razors and trash on the ground. The front desk attendant appeared to be under the influence—fidgety and acting strangely.
We were given a room on the third floor. The elevator smelled strongly of marijuana. The ice machine had visible mold, and the A/C only worked when set to 60°F, making the room uncomfortably cold. The curtains were torn, the headboard was spray-painted to cover damage, and the sheets had cigarette burns. There were no blankets in the room; we had to request them.
Panels in both the elevator and bathroom were screwed in as a makeshift fix. The bathtub wasn’t clean, so we laid down a towel before using it. On the second day, I asked for a refund for the remaining nights, but because I booked through an Expedia package, I was told it wasn’t possible.
We were moved to a first-floor room where the A/C worked and we didn’t have to use the questionable elevator, but not much else improved. The advertised “hot breakfast” consisted only of waffles—no eggs, bacon, or other basics. A staff member even admitted, “Quality Inn took us down to the lowest standards.”
I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are better-maintained and more honest accommodations elsewhere.
