We stayed at the Ramada Golden Valley for 5 nights. There were some positives and negatives.
Positives... Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. We arrived at about 1 am, no issues. I asked for more towels, happily retrieved. Complimentary breakfast buffet was as expected: pancakes, waffles, cereal, sausage, yogurt, eggs, breads, bananas. I would have liked bagels or muffins, but that's getting nitpicky. All day coffee and lemon water was appreciated. I understand there's a complimentary drink during happy hour, but we were never in the hotel at that time. The room was big enough for 3 of us, with a coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The AC worked great, although it was a little loud. The shower pressure could be adjusted so that was nice. The location is super convenient, just off interstate 394, so easy to get to almost everywhere.
Negatives... Housekeeping never came to our room to clean, change towels, or empty trash. At least I could get more from the front desk. The mirror over the sink was designed for tall people, as I could barely see myself. There was another mirror, mostly full-length, but the lighting was not ideal to put on makeup (we were in town for a wedding). Front desk staff should have mentioned all the local highway construction. I'm originally from the area so I know my way around, but 2 major highway off ramps were closed, so it was a bit if a hassle driving to and from the hotel.
