Shortly after midnight someone entered the room using a key card, did not turn on the light by the door, and came silently to the edge of the bed. when I shouted at them they retrieved slowly out. I had no sleep that night. Being especially alarmed they somehow had a key and the hour being so late when they came in I spoke to the desk staff in the morning to bring it to their attention. The deck lady was apologetic but I asked to have management call me regarding this potentially dangerous incident and after leaving my number expected to hear back shortly, but no reply has come. I did get an email from the Baymont asking how my stay was and I did reply, but still no response. I am not a complainer by nature but this needed to be acknowledged and dealt with.

Front door is not handicap accessible. No staff at the front desk. Our room key needed activated each day. No communication between workers. Enjoyed the breakfast area for family after the funeral service. But staff didn’t know we had permission in.

Multiple sticky spots on carpet, pool and hot tub shut down and not noted on website and the other family we traveled with canceled since they wanted a pool for kids, breakfast attendant took away serving spoons while we were dishing up and 20 minutes before it closed. As many hotels as there are in Minot we won't bother with this one in the 3-4 times we are in town a year.
