Worth a stay

We enjoyed our stay at the comfort inn. The property was nicely updated, and the rooms were very clean. We only were able to stay one day but it is a hotel that I would consider staying at for a longer term. All the folks that worked at the hotel were very friendly.

Property Refused refund

After arriving to the hotel, the lobby was disgusting and had the smell of mildew emanating from a specific room near the front desk. Got our room key and proceeded to our room. Elevator and hallways were also dirty, and you could tell they had not been vacuumed recently. Got to our room and found it in complete disarray. When I requested a refund so that we could take our business elsewhere, the front desk declined and cited their strict cancellation policy . Experience was terrible.

Very clean rooms. I like the security of the entrance to the elevators being at the front desk. The bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was excellent and ready right on time. Ice machine, snack and drink vending machines located on each floor.

Breakfast review

The breakfast was not as good as some free breakfast hotels. There was only 1 kind of cereal choice (Cheerios). They did not have individual chocolate milk cartons or regular milk cartons.

Good but breakfast was...

Stay over all was well. Had to change rooms cause one the temp was too warm and couldnt get lower. The elevator spelt like warm burn eubber which was a cause for concern. And the breakfast was lacking, waffle makers half working, juice machine didnt work, only 1 variety of yogurt.

The staff was friendly and well knowledgeable about the activities near Miramar. And made suggestions about their favorite beaches and restaurants. Also there was a Cafe near by with excellent coffee.

Hotel was okay, staff was friendly. Only issue was the noise and hardly any breakfast. There was two baseball teams staying there, breakfast didn't stand a chance. My only complaint was that the staff could have made more food.

Wont stay again

Arrived around 11pm with two small kids first room was completely trashed, 2nd room the air didnt work it was 75 in the room, 3rd the air also didnt work and front desk said "no one else was complaining" so we dealt with it for the night as it was midnight by then and we had two small children. Next day the new lady was nice, they comped us for that previous night but couldnt have our room changed again until that afternoon. Room was okay, but then we discovered the toilet didnt work husband was able to semi fix it enough to get through the night. Called that afternoon someone didnt come to fix it until 9am the following day. Will not stay again. One plus was it was close to all beaches and shopping centers
