I stayed solo for two nights and had a fantastic time. The staff were really kind and gave me clear recommendations about nearby restaurants and what they serve. The room was spotless and well stocked with towels, so I had no problems. The balcony had a nice table set — perfect for eating and drinking while enjoying a tropical vibe. Mission Beach Lodge is conveniently located near to Mission Beach and is within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants and takeaway food places. The staff are very friendly and our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Wifi access was quick. The property is currently undergoing some exterior renovation but this did not present any problems.

Room needs restoration, mould, peeling paint. Worst part was the toilet was not cleaned and has an excrement on the side of the bowl. Needs to have council inspection as none of the electrical items had a test and tag on them, some quite old. Very small room, bed uncomfortable and worn out (flattened) pillows. Avoid.
