Very friendly staff, my son loved the water slides, Standard hotel breakfast, clean. Only issue was with the 90+ degree temp. Third floor room ac didn't seem to be able to keep up. Wasn't miserable but would have preferred cooler. But overall great hotel at a reasonable price for Missoula

Before checking in, we spent five days on the mountain, and we looked forward to sleeping with all the luxuries of home. In our original room, the A/C was non-functional. I notified the front desk. They notified maintenance, and after the individual came to our room to address the problem, he stated to wait thirty minutes for the condition to improve. The room did not get colder. Therefore, I contacted the front desk, and they immediately switched us to another room. After moving, and inpacking our things, the a/c in the second room was also non-functional. The room was too hot for me to sleep. I essentially paid $170 not to sleep before driving home 1700 miles. If you are looking for a room to sleep in that is colder that 75°, this proved to be too much of an expectation. The staff was as helpful as they could be, but they did not have the tools or rooms available to solve the issues that we had.

Let's talk about what myself and other guests I talked to were VERY upset about, the $10 parking fee. I can understand it being charged in some downtown areas, but this was on the edge of Missoula MT where there was plenty of open parking available.

We liked the rooms, and it is a very quiet area. What is not told anywhere that I could see on Orbitz when booking the room is that there is a $10 a night fee for parking. I don’t know why, as other hotels in the immediate area do not have that to my knowledge. So it was an unpleasant surprise. For that reason, I am giving it a 4 star rating and not a 5, even if everything else is.

Freezing in Missoula

Beautiful new facility, but 1. Heat did not function and it was 45 degrees outside. 2. Bathtub drain did not function. 3. Charged $10. to park, saying everyone did it. That was BS as we have been in 9 hotels in April and May and no other hotel has charged for parking. Did they think people walk to their hotel?
