I wasn't expecting the $150 hold for incidentals to be charged to my credit card, in addition to the room rental which had already been paid, didn't see anything about that in the listing. But the room was nice.

We had stayed a property before. We liked the camp style setting (vibe) in the rooms and front lobby / store. The beds are comfortable and rooms are quiet. Staff was very friendly. The lobby store is nice for any last mintue hiking or biking needs.

Field station caters to those who are traveling around Utah. With many stops it was so. Nice to have a place we could put our food and refrigerate our cold stuff. They have a very cool cooler to use. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The grounds include ping pong and an outdoor fire pit and lounge area as well as pool. It is an older motel redone so it is a little loud because the entry is inside and down a hall. Fortunately they have quiet hours from 10pm and 7am and everyone was respectful. Our dog has supersonic hearing !

This facility provides very good basic accommodations. The room furnishings are minimal with no carpeting or upholstery, which gives it a feeling of cleanliness. The beds were fine, and the pillows were superb. Door closings are loud and annoying when other guests come and go.

Pros: Super comfortable (very firm!) beds. Staff very friendly. Close (really close) to Arches NP. While there is no kettle, coffee maker or microwave in the room, coffee is available in the lobby and there are microwaves in the rooms with the ice machine.Lots of road noise (as I expect there is everywhere in Moab) but not bad at all at the back of the building. Cons: Heating/cooling unit in room 202 was VERY loud.

Super cool place designed around hosting those staying to pursue outdoor activities. Bike stand in the room. Finger board above the bathroom door. Pegboard to hang your gear to dry. Very well set up to serve a purpose. Bed was foam and comfortable.

Well done on the aesthetics of the place and the feel of an outdoor adventure setting. It was very comfortable sitting around the fire pit in the mornings and evenings. Staff was great and rooms were comfortable. The rooms are a bit noisy though for light sleepers. The people in the room above us had heavy feet late into the night. But other than that, we had a great stay and would return on a future trip to Moab when not camping!!
