Nice location and friendly check in staff. First room AC was not working. I was quickly moved to another room. Pros; nice breakfast, ample parking, cold AC and decent mattress. Cons; second floor (232) facing pool is very pound with kids swimming or screaming. Request odd number I was in 239. Terrible pillows, down and thin. Facial /body soap is a bar and leaves a residue. Dorm fridge door would not shut completely due to the freezer completely froze solid with excessive ice. I turned off and placed a towel to catch the water so the next guest won’t have to deal with it.

At the front desk on Friday evening, June 13, 2025, Melissa was excellent. Personable, experienced, and very helpful. Thank you, Melissa! On Sunday morning (I believe she was also there on Saturday morning), the young lady was preoccupied with her cell phone and less concerned with a guest standing at her desk, acting as though I was causing her an inconvenience. When I checked out on Sunday morning, June 15, 2025, I was emailed an invoice that showed my residence address as being in Las Vegas, NV and not in Baton Rouge. How did this happen? Very strange.
