The bathroom in my room was not cleaned. Hair in sink and on floor, toilet seat was still clearly soiled and tub was black from dirt. I was taken to two other rooms with same conditions. Needless to say I did not stay at this hotel. The front desk clerk was very polite and understood my concerns. Unfortunately, I did not receive a refund for the first night but was refunded the remaining 2 nights.

While my stay fit what I needed the overall feeling of the hotel was just dirty. The pool floor was peeling up and sticking to hands, feet or anything that touched it. Also pieces of the paint were in the pool, the room was dirty and you could see pieces of trash, fake eyelashes, nail clippings and more left over from previous guests. The floor turned my granddaughters feet black and needs a good rug cleaning. The bathroom floor also needed a deep clean as when you stepped out the shower dirt immediately was on your feet from the tile design holding it. The room had a pull out couch but it was dirty on the mattress and under the couch showing it had not been cleaned. For a room that sleeps 5 we were given 3 towels and one was cloth…. It was hard to get them to give more towels as they said that’s what a room gets. For the pull out you must request linens which is a sheet and a blanket, again odd for a person to have to sleep with no second sheet. The outside had overgrown bushes and trash , again just needing a clean. The breakfast was good and a few of the staff I worked with were helpful. I did have to have my key rekeys multiple times as it wouldn’t register to open any doors, and even after rekeying the room door was a struggle to get open. Location was close to food and highway and to where I needed so that was good.

My favorite staycation spot

My vision isn't great so I requested one of the rooms with a larger tv, which i know they have from many prior stays but was told they did have any or any available so my stay wasn't as enjoyable as i would have liked. As always the staff was friendly and the room felt clean and fresh. They have the best beds!!!

Overall, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was basic but filling. The only problem was that, due to the lack of a non-slip mat in the shower or possibly an issue with the shower floor itself, my husband had a fall because it was extremely slippery. He hit his head, back, and hip. Honestly, even though we spoke with the front desk and requested an incident report, they never provided one. It truly was a miracle he wasn’t killed — if he had hit his head harder, the outcome could have been tragic. Guests really need to be aware, as this is a serious safety hazard. It is very dangerous, and he is still experiencing pain and bruising.
