Hotel is dirty & smells horrible. Women’s long hair all over the room. Super dusty carpet and furniture. Small rooms. Not handicap accessible, as they claim to be. You have to pay for parking and breakfast. Jacuzzi out of order. Disappointed.

Much to be expected

These rooms are in dire need of upgrades. The doors don't lock. The air conditioning is horrible. I shouldn't be sweating when just sitting there, and the AC is supposedly at the highest fan speed and the lowest temperature setting. Not being able to sleep because it's so hot is a sure way of running your entire stay.

I enjoyed the high floor room. It was a beautiful view of the city. The bar area was enjoyable too. The staff were friendly. The only issue we had was the AC stopped working the last night we were there, but staff was informed so hopefully it’ll be fixed quick!

We stayed here for Yosemite. But the distance is too far to the national park. In downtown Modesto, but the city itself has zero attractions. The hotel is good, with the same quality as the other DoubleTree in big cities. The breakfast is fantastic! Must try.

Nicely located, but nobody mentions the train that screams through every 30 minutes! Horn honking all the way. Hotel was tired and dirty. Room felt grimy. The WORST bed we’ve ever slept in - slept in would be erroneous, tossed and turned all night. No area around the hotel for dogs, no dog bowls, water or poop bag station. I’d rate this 3/10. An expensive option in Modesto Downtown - isn’t worth it.
