Needed a room for the night traveling from San Fran to Yosemite. Couldn't have been happier with the stay outside of not spending much time there (we got in late and had to leave early). Check-in was amazing, the desk guy really took care of us. Room was spectacular - super comfy beds, clean (spotless), large, just ideal. Breakfast was awesome - eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc etc. Would have enjoyed staying longer - this place is fantastic.

Vehicle Damaged, No Help from Staff

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Modesto and had a very disappointing experience. During my stay, my truck was damaged in the hotel’s parking lot. The bed cover was broken, and there were clear marks indicating someone tried to break into it. What made this worse was the complete lack of support from the hotel staff. When I reported the incident and asked if they could check the security cameras, they refused to confirm or deny whether anything had been seen or recorded. They were uncooperative and offered no assistance. I expected better security and a more professional response from hotel staff, especially when a guest’s property is involved. I do not feel this hotel takes guest safety seriously, and I would not recommend staying here—especially if you're traveling with a vehicle.
