Swahili Beach Resort offers 125 air-conditioned accommodations with minibars and safes. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. Accommodations offer separate sitting areas. Second time around....
Our second stay at Swahili and 5 years later, it was every bit as fabulous as the first. The location and resort is beautiful. The staff here are wonderful and genuinely seem very happy - they are the absolute key to the success of the resort and we hope they are highly valued, from what we saw, this appears to be the case.

Relaxing and beautiful resort
Amazing resort. I ate, swam, drank and relaxed. Only bad thing is they don't keep beach boys from harrassing you so I didn't go on beach. Security just watched them harrass people. Lovely rooms, great service.

My husband and I really enjoyed honeymooning at Swahili Beach resort. The service was exceptional and the food options were very delicious. Please note that there is no all-inclusive drink package so drinks you do have to pay for a la carte. Very nice amenities and beautiful room. Beach access directly in front of the resort and a lovely spa. We would definitely recommend staying here! There are monkeys in the area so just be mindful of leaving room windows open or food unattended near the swimming pool areas (monkeys are fast!).

We had a great stay, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we in particular had great service from Clinton on the front desk, and Shadrack and Gilbert in the restaurants.

Had the worst experience ever. Our travel agent told us that hw was booking us on southern palms but i was adamant i wanted to stay here and went ahead to book myself through hotels.com At first they werent clear if we are on half board or full and guided us according to full board to later charge for the lunches we thought were complimentary. The staff was rude, very impolite and their communication was very poor. Its not a matter of money, its the experience but they didnt seem to care much for the guest experience. They have thousands of very bad reviews but i only saw them after checking in

The hotel offers excellent amenities, including a stunning multi-level swimming pool. The rooms are charming and traditionally designed, though the bathrooms and floors could use more attention to cleanliness. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Overall, it's a fantastic place to stay.

The property is beautiful architectural wise, but it’s not kept in a good condition…. The rooms are not clean at all I mean at all…. The worst food ever and very bad quality very low quality food to a point everyone on the property tourists that I met were complaining about it ….. The chef and the team have no idea what they are cooking… They must win an award for best tasteless food in Kenya…

Very nice end to our safari. We came here to relax and enjoy the coast. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean, our food was great, we had wonderful spa treatments and were fully relaxed while there. It's an older property but is maintained well. Very beautiful grounds overall. The beach location was not the best stretch in Diani I've seen (nature is nature) but that doesn't take away from the overall beauty of the resort.

I've stayed at almost all the best hotels in across diani and Swahili beach is my favourite. Amazing staff, exceptional services and quick response to any problems or issues you may have. I was sorely disappointed because I expected a 5-Star as the resort purports itself to be. The beach is NASTY, full of rocks and seaweed which workers attempt to sweep for at least 4 hours every morning. The pools are DIRTY except the one at the very bottom and the service was lacking because I had to keep calling the front desk for assistance with housekeeping. I’d had surgery so I needed my room cleaned as early as 10am everyday of my 7-night stay, but it still wouldn’t be cleaned by 4pm! I’ll just go back to Pride-Inn and the North Coast resorts.
