There was an initial mixup with the room, but it was resolved quickly. Also, we could not find someone at the desk at check in and this was in late may early afternoon. There is no view to the river, just rooms facing the river side of town. The rooms actually face the parking lot side of the hotel. The rooms facing the river side are large, so for anyone travelling with a lot of gear this would be a great place to stay. There are a couple of tables at one end of the parking area in a separate space where we enjoyed a bottle of wine and local cheeses. While close to the parking area, the space has a view of the mountain, since the hotel is on a hill.

Dramatisch konden om 16.00 uur niks eten(omda restaurant afgehuurd was voor feestje ) dus iets anders gezocht Vervolgens geprobeerd de hotelleiding duidelijk te maken dat dit belachelijk spraken geen engels we kregen te horen dat restaurant de volgende dag weer open ging en wat schetst onze verbazing een half uur later gaat restaurant weer open !!! Proberen te overleggen dat we hier geen 3 nachten wilden blijven op deze manier dat is dan jammer voor ons in de kleine lettertjes staat ...... Zeer jammer ze hadden mijns inziens ons wel een beetje tegemoet kunnen komen . Een P.s op website praat men over zwembad (3x2 ongeveer ) pfffff

Fijn hotel met vriendelijke staf vlakbij Granada
De ontvangst in dit hotel is vriendelijk en zeer servicegericht. Het hotel ligt mooi in het dorp Monachil aan de voet van de bergen, vlakbij wandelgebied en vlakbij Granada maar is desondanks in dit jaargetijde heerlijk rustig. De staf is erg vriendelijk, de kamer redelijk ruim met prima bedden. Het ontbijt is goed maar wat duur; €5 is in Spanje aan de hoge kant. De auto kan op het eigen parkeerterrein worden neergezet. Dit hotel is gewoon een prima keuze!

Voor een kort verblijf voldoende.3 nachten kan dat goed. Bedden prima ook voor zwakkere rug.Rustige omgeving Prachtig uitzicht.Het ontbijt is goed,met eigengemaakt beleg.Kamer elke dagkeurig opgemaakt en schoon. Bijbehorend restaurant prima.Goede keuken Attente bediening. Schraalhans keukenmeester woont hier niet.Prijs kwaliteit/kwantiteit 8+ Neem de lokale Monachil wijn (fles wordt bewaard) vraag wel even om de temperatuur 18-20 graden te maken. 2 avonden heerlijk gegeten Monachil een klein maar gezellig dorpje aan de voet van de Sierra Nevada...met verrasend goede wegen naar Prado LLano Dit hotel is een ideaal startpunt. Men is erg vriendelijk .In de buurt? Doen

The hotel is a very well kept property on the way to Sierra Nevada from Granada. Convenient and affordable. The owner gave us a lot of useful information. The service in general is not good though: the house keeping did not notice that we were runing out of toilet paper, when asking for more bread at breakfast instead of refilling the basket on the buffet they brought us one single bread, you never knew what to expect for breakfast as the choices changed daily, etc, etc...: small details that prevent them from being an excelent choice!

L'hotel est au dessus du restaurant ce qui génére des niusances importantes que l'hotelier ne sait pas gérer , il ne fait pas respecter les besoins de calme nécessaire car il ne veut pas se priver et fâcher sa clientéle du restaurant

facilité d'accès à l'alhambra
Accueil familial et charmant. Très attentifs aux demandes, très disponibles et très aimables (renseignements sur entrées à l'Alhambra, sur bus disponibles, sur circuits à faire dans les alentours ...).Tout était parfait ! Le restaurant était également très bien : dîners et petits déjeuners. Des français du sud-ouest en vacances en Andalousie.

Hotel agréable , accueil très sympathique . Emplacement idéal , au calme , aux pieds des montagnes et à 10kms de l'Alhambra .
