Beach resort oasis on the edge of desert. Varying accommodation options available, our budget accommodation, double with bunk beds had a shared bathroom between 2 rooms, was compact but suitable. Unfortunately room smelt like stale wet footwear and windows don't open.

Few issues; (1) waited over an hour for breakfast to be served and it didnt even seem fresh (2) ants in our kitchen in unit (3) No hot water for showers in family units 3 seperate times (4) ride on buggies cast $20 / hour! free at most other resorts (5) the $15pp entry fee to the park is ridiculous when the dolphins can be seen naturally most times of the day

A quick stop over on way to Exmouth . Beautiful beach. We had dinner at the casual bar. It was really nice food We saw the dolphins feeding in the morning. Very family oriented

The location of this park is fantastic and is a coastal haven for those travelling in a group or with young families. The dolphin talks were very informative (hosted by passionate and knowledgeable people) and we saw lots of wildlife during our short stay - dolphins, turtles, emus, lots of fish and birds. Only downside is the noise levels for quiet couples can be a bit much! Didn't get a lot of sleep. But overall it was worth staying and would do it again.

Amazing Stay

Our family had a great one-night stay. The accommodation was less than 400m away from the dolphin viewing experience area. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette is well-equipped. The restaurant on-site served great steaks and seafood.

We really enjoyed our stay at Monkey Mia. We has a garden view room which was convenient and reasonably quiet. The room was large enough fir a family and was clean and tidy. We took advantage of the the dolphin experience and the Aristocat2 afternoon cruise which were excellent. We didn't use the onsite dining so no comment there. We went to Denham instead for dining.

Those turtles are so cute

Stayed in a budget, shared bathroom room and it was certainly missing the small comforts. Only 1 overhead light in the room and no tea making facilities. Room did have a fridge,small dining table and chairs and the bed was comfortable. Bring earplugs and sleepmask. It was so bright from all the outside lighting and the setup reminded us of school camp. Excellent quality food in the restaurant and friendly service. Price on par with pubs/restaurants in Melbourne and Sydney. The bar does cheaper meals or there is bbqs and camp kitchen. Need to bring all your own everything though. Right on the beach. Saw dolphins, turtles, dugongs and emus. Did an eco cruise which was well worth it.
