Monte San Giusto Vacation Packages

This location is just between The Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli and Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi along a brick walkway between the two. “De Angeli” is a 15 minute walk flat and San Francesco is a 45 monitor walk all up hill. The hotel offers breakfast which you can book along with your reservation that is bountiful and includes eggs to order. Dinner is available with a reservation which can made the same day. We left the hotel early to drive to Roma and they had a box breakfast waiting for to take along on our drive. We stayed in a standard double bed room which was small but included a refrigerator, a bottle of water, a teapot, assorted teas, and shower gel, shampoo, and hand soap. The bed was European king with allergy pillows, but a hard mattress compared to American standards. The staff is very attentive, on duty 24/7, and accommodating. The parking lot is plentiful and free. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel that will take you very near Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, and the Rocca Maggiore. If you end up at San Damiano, there is a bus that will take you back to San Francesco d’Assisi and The Eremo delle Carceri.

Amazing spot! Much better than the pictures. Amazing food, quiet and relaxing place.

They indicated on their website that they had laundry facility available. I assume that meant I can use the washing machines and just put in coins to use it. This was not the case there was a laundry service and you had to pay someone to do your laundry. Also to have a kettle in your room, this was extra, I assumed having a kettle in your room was a kind gesture, but I guess I was wrong.

If you book this hotel for the pool, then don’t. The entire time that we were there, the pool did not work. However, the staff was wonderful, the rooms were decent, and the breakfast was outstanding. We were on a lovely hilltop. Perugia is a great city. I would return to that hotel.

Hotel pulito e con tutti I servizi essenziali, personale molto cortese. Non lontano dal centro raggiungibile a piedi ma la sera meglio evitare.
