Lovely stay Montecarlo, Tuscany
Good stay here. Lovely and enthusiastic service. Welcomed by Francesca immediately. This is a place that want to make you a happy guest. Parking is mere yards away. As close or closer than hotels with their own lot. No worries here. Breakfast was customary. Pastries, ham and cheese and breads with coffee, teas, orange juice, granola. Great toiletries (Rituals)! Tiny village so walk out your door and you are already in the center. Constructive criitiques: please improve quality of matresses, linens, pillows and blankets. Also lighting in the rooms.

Without question the best service we had during our three weeks in Italy. If you want to discover a hilltop C13th Roman village, Monte Carlo is your place. Great location if you have a car - Pisa, Vinci and Lucca and Florence all easy to get to and with visiting. Francesca was without doubt the most gracious and accomodating host. Her passion for service and love for Monte Carlo is evident in everything she does and the property - and is world class. To stay in a C16th abode was the experience of a lifetime with fire-side drinks before dinner in the village. If you want a real Italian experience - with service to match - then this is your place. We loved our night with Francesca. She is a terrific host - and pre arrival communication et al was world class.

Amazing experience!
The best private-owned hotel experience I have ever had. Clean, comfortable and at a nice location, where you can have a view of the whole city and where you can enjoy the pure Italy style town. The hotel is big (over 1000 sq meters or 10,000 sq ft). It is full of history: a 500 year old well, a villa and lots of collections by the owners, who are super nice and professional. The breakfast is the best breakfast experience I have had so far after traveling so many places in many countries. A couple of minutes away you can enjoy food and drinks at a street full of bar and reataurants. Nice food with very reasonable price. The town is small but so pure Italy style. The door of the castle/town could be closed so that the town is safe. Make sure you walk though the town, which is full of story. In sum, a very sweet memory in Italy. I would regret it if missed it. And I told my son to make sure to bring his children here in the future ( my son is just 11 :)) Strongly recommend!

16th Century hotel in the heart of Montecarlo
Our hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The room was comfy though the access to the top of the house was very steep with our luggage. Suggest asking for a first floor room if you stay! Be prepared for street noise and clock chimes, but the setting is idyllic and the breakfast good.

A wonderful find! This is a beautiful 17 th century villa right in town. Francesca was a wonderful host. By far the very best breakfast I have seen in Italy and Europe! The rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. We will return. Thank you Francesca !!!

Gorgeous bed and breakfast in stunning little town
Fab bed and breakfast in Montecarlo . We had family suite which had a gorgeous main room and separate smaller room with 2 bunks for the kids. Kids felt it 'was like staying in a castle'...stunning old building. Proprietor spoke amazing English, insisted on helping with luggage in 40 degree heat and we couldn't have been more comfortable. Montecarlo is a gem...you can't go wrong eating out and we'll definitely consider returning for a romantic break (maybe with just two of us next time!)

Comfort
Montecarlo is a small place with a charm that can only be called classic. The place itself is a piece of history and we enjoyed every moment of it. Despite its age the bed was comfortable (foam mattress replacement) and the bathroom was always clean. Modern additions like AC helped with the heat and life was good !

Off the scale of wonderful 5+++++
Arrived on motorcycles to the most picturesque Tuscan village one could imagine with Saturday night village life going on in the square by the church with restaurants, bars, and gelato shops all open to enjoy oneself. We felt like we belonged on only our second day in the country. Everyone, especially the hotel staff, were incredibly friendly. Positively wonderful experience.

Everything about this Hotel was, from the welcome to the room, breakfast and service. This Hotel is perfect for families and situated in the most scenic and idyllic area. Monte Carlo its self is a wonderful hidden gem and a place no one wants to leave. Erica who runs the Hotel is another little gem and made the stay outstanding for us.

Montecarlo
We loved Montecarlo, a very picturesque hilltop, medieval village with a wall around it and its own fortress. The hotel used to be a palazzo (palace), but has since been turned into a hotel. Erica, who runs it, was very nice and helpful. The place was a bit hard to find, but the village is not very big, so we found it soon enough. The bed, bathroom, pillows, and towels were good.

Beautiful, clean, welcoming! Deserves 5 stars!
We had here a better tuscan experience than in higher rated hotels. Our suite was large and full of character, our hostess was very nice and welcoming and Montecarlo is a cute tuscan town, a nice discovery. I just wish our stay was longer.

Excellent Stay!
This charming B&B located in the quaint town of Montecarlo is a true gem! Erica provides (above)5 star service from start to finish completing every task with a personable smile. Her passion for her work is seen in every detail. The rooms were individually themed, air conditioned and spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I highly recommend her cakes and for lunch/dinner her wine! Erica also conducts wine tastings in between arranging transportation for guest and providing recommendations for all the lovely cities near by. I highly recommend staying at The Antica Dimora Patrizia for a one of a kind experience in Europe! I am already planning my next trip back!
