The location of this hotel is fantastic and central to all the major sights. We were able to walk to every major landmark between 4-10 minutes. The staff were lovely and hard working. The AC, shower/hot water worked great. The breakfast was a typical continental style and I found it satisfactory to a hotel this size. The one thing that was challenging was getting a regular wifi signal. Overall, great stay for a family of 4.

Very good location. Clean hotel. Our ac was broken but they handled us a new room inmediately. The hotel is confortable and size of the rooms are decent. Bigger than average in the area.

Villa Cora was an interesting and pleasant stay with a nice pool, lovely staff, and a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our stay but likely will not return. Strengths: - Well-kept stately villa and grounds - Attractive, beautifully-designed room and indoor common areas - Helpful, kind, and capable staff pre-arrival and during our stay - A lovely pool environment, perfect for staying cool and relaxing in summer - Excellent fresh lunch at the poolside restaurant Le Bistrot - A general sense of peace and calmness - Good shuttle service when available Areas of Improvement: - Value: at an average €1,065 / night (incl. tax), it was too expensive for what it offered - Air conditioning was weak and the room was hot throughout our stay - Housekeeping was inconsistent - Too many expensive extras - Weak service at the pool - The strange shuttle hours of 9:30 - 12:30 and 4:30 - 8:30 left gaps and required us to take many expensive taxis - Very little storage space in the small Classic Room - Rooftop bar and basement speakeasy were both closed despite being advertised on the hotel website I debated whether to rate this property 3 or 4 out of 5, and the quality of staff broke the tie for me. The hotel was very well-maintained with helpful staff. The breakfast was fantastic. The only problem was, it was a far walk to the city centre. Despite the walk , I highly recommend this hotel

The staff at Maxim Hotel gave us a wonderful welcome. Check in was easy and fast, everyone was very friendly, the location is excellent, and the hotel is beautiful and exceptionally clean. Unfortunately, our experience changed on the second night when the hotel lost power. There was a complete blackout that appeared to affect only a few businesses on the block. We arrived back around 9:00 PM and decided to watch a game at a nearby bar while waiting for the electricity to return. When we came back around 11:45 PM, there was still no power. There was no air conditioning, no hot water, and, most importantly, no communication from the hotel. A technician told us the power would be restored gradually, but we received no updates. We ended up checking out around 5:00 AM without ever receiving an explanation, an apology, or any alternative accommodation or assistance. It was disappointing because everything else about the hotel had been excellent.

i don't like the hotel has a small bathroom . everything is close to restaurants and stuff
