I was not happy with how the outcome of our trip was handled.
Our transportation roundtrip from the airport to resort was booked through expedia. We found the lady (Hyacinth) at the resort to help book and confirm our shuttle back to the airport. We arrive that friday to the lobby and checked out on time. We then waited for our shuttle and it did not arrive. We were then forced last minute to pay for a cab (by the same lady hyacinth) - who said to keep the receipt from the cab driver and expedia will reimburse us. Hyacinth claims there was a "glitch in the system" and our shuttle was not booked (though Hyacinth herself was the one who booked our shuttle 2 days prior). Now Hyacinth/grand palladium states expedia has to reimburse us, and expedia is stating to reach out to grand palladium. I'm extremely disappointed as none of this was our fault yet neither party is willing to take responsibility for the error and is making me go back and forth rather than simply reimbursing me. All I am asking is to be reimbursed the cab fare we were forced to spend last minute along with the expedia shuttle service since we didn't even get to use it. It does not seem like an unreasonable ask considering we did everything right on our end.
