Check-in at Hotel 39 in Jamaica was smooth, but unfortunately, the front desk service during my stay was extremely disappointing. Whenever I needed assistance, the staff was either unavailable, unhelpful, or dismissive. Simple requests took far too long to be addressed, and I often felt like I was being ignored rather than accommodated. Hospitality is a key part of any hotel experience, and the lack of professionalism and attentiveness from the front desk made my stay frustrating. I would not recommend Hotel 39 based on this poor service alone. There are plenty of other accommodations in Jamaica that understand the value of hospitality and treating guests with respect. I expected better service, and unfortunately, Hotel 39 did not deliver. I would not stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

Did not like the fact that sweet ants were everywhere In bed , personal items etc Putting food in the room trash can is a big NO NO Also I had a problem with the toilet being clogged that wasn’t addressed due to maintenance never coming to solve the issue. housekeeping tried to assist but apparently they couldn’t fix it. Staff was great . T the Bartender was amazing. Also the chef and servers were very welcoming .food & drinks amazing . Will I recommend yes, will I stay again maybe , maybe not .

Really beautiful hotel and friendly staff. However breakfast was extremely slow and a little stingy. I.e I was only allowed one small glass of orange juice, and would’ve been charged for a refill

Here is my honest review Staff at the front desk are very nice and helpful The balcony ocean view is a must other wise what’s the point? Walk in shower is convenient The mirror in the washroom is nice The chairs on the balcony are comfy as a bigger person like myself it’s important to have good chairs The pool loungers are very comfy The pool water was refreshing The tv was big and easy to use. You can store your bags It was close to beaches, convenience store and night clubs. Hot breakfast made to order was included all American or Jamaican breakfast Now is this worth 355$/night? No I had the double room ocean view. I stayed at all inclusives at way cheaper so this was not worth it to me. That price should have everything included, water alcohol food etc This place looks like the owner wanted to do the Reno’s quick and get on with charging big bucks by taking really nice modern pictures. The only thing that was worth it was the view on the balcony. Whoever did the Reno’s and finishing touches should rethink their skills! The furniture looks great. The chairs in the dining area are too small for bigger people like me I did not fit. The pool bottom paint was coming off and there was pieces of concrete in the bottom which did hurt my toe. There was no pool towel, prepare to hike to get to the pool. There’s no water fountain so you gotta go get your own water imagine at that price it’s embarrassing. There should be bottles in the room like most expensive hotels.

Overall, the property was good. However, the shower needs modification so that the water doesn’t go all over the bathroom floor. The water was also spilling over into the bedroom from the shower due to the poor design. Also, the front desk staff needs additional customer service training. They were not very welcoming or warm. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent.

Overall, we had a nice stay here! Staff members were very friendly and helpful! The only issue we had was we couldn’t fall asleep on the first night due to the bed being a little too hard and how busy the road was with motorcyclists and cars going back and forth. Not the hotel’s fault re the traffic but just a heads up for anyone planning to stay in here when they go to Mobay Jamaica. I would stay here again though because of the staff. Also, breakfast at this hotel is really good!
