Friendliness staff I have ever encounter, especially Gabriel. She made sure my son first birthday was just as special to her as it was to me. Mark was very attentive at the bar and knowledgeable. The Jerk hut was very delicious and authentic. I will definitely come back in August.

express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Hyatt Ziva Montego Bay. My experience at your property was far below the standards expected from a Hyatt resort, and I feel compelled to bring several serious issues to your attention. First and foremost, the condition of the building is unacceptable. The facility is extremely outdated, and upon entering our room, we were met with a foul odor. The room itself was in poor condition, showing visible signs of neglect — including cockroaches and mold, even inside the air conditioning unit. This presents a serious health hazard, especially since we were traveling with young children (ages 3 and 6). Despite raising these concerns with the manager, Russell, we were only offered a room change within the same building, which did not resolve the issue as the same problems persisted. In addition to the unsanitary conditions, we were overcharged by $750 for our children, even though there was a promotional offer stating that kids stay free. We traveled as part of a group of six families. The children’s charges were waived for the other five families, despite our stay being only one night longer. Expedia reached out to your staff to confirm the promotional policy and requested authorization to issue us a refund, which your management team declined without justification. This is my second visit to the Hyatt Ziva resort and it did disappoint. Beautiful facilities and clean and well kept grounds. I would highly recommend this awesome resort.

The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. Especially a very special staff member by the name of Carmela! She is the life of the party of the entire resort. She would get everyone into the party spirit!!! Carmela was especially great with my kids. Every time she would see them she would greet them with hugs, and high fives.
