I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience truly disappointed us.
For a hotel that promotes itself as a 5-star resort, the overall condition and service quality were far below expectations. The property feels worn down and poorly maintained. In our room, the bathroom outlet did not work, several lights were in bad condition, and the television never functioned properly during our stay.
The food was extremely disappointing. There was very limited variety, and most of the time only what the staff decided to offer was available. This applied not only to the buffet but also to drinks — many options were simply unavailable. The quality of the food did not match what you would expect from a 5-star all-inclusive resort.
Service was another major issue. Staff members were often inattentive and, at times, rude. Items were handed to us abruptly, wait times were long for almost everything, and there was a general lack of hospitality. The ice cream shop only operated at night, which makes little sense in a hot tropical destination where guests would expect it to be available during the day.
There were also very limited activities and entertainment options. The resort felt dull and lacking in energy.
Overall, this was not a 5-star experience by any standard. If zero stars were possible, that is what I would give. Unfortunately, we left very disappointed.
