Was there for a 5 day girls’ trip for my 50th birthday. Staff was amazing - so friendly, helpful, eager to do anything to make our stay better. Entertainment by the pool was great. However, room smelled damp, bathroom sink was clogged, outlets didn’t accommodate standard plugs well, and doors to the rooms slammed very loudly at all hours. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Overall, for the money we spent, it was a good trip.

This was our first trip to Jamaica. We were able to check in early since we got there by 12:00pm which was very nice to be able to eat lunch and sit by the beach a few extra hours. The hotel staff was vey accommodating and super friendly, especially at the restaurants. Airplane noise was loud during peak hours at the airport. The worse part of the stay was the annoying vendors on kayaks at the beach.

I would visit this resort a 1000 times over again. This was my second time visiting Jamaica but 1st time at the Riu Palace and I ENJOYED! From the entertainment, to the friendly staff, the food 10/10, and the scenery. I love Jamaica and whenever I come back, I will definitely be booking at this resort.

This resort met expectations, I do wish I had booked through the property itself as they provide complimentary round trip airport shuttles. The food was better on the weekend than during the week. The staff were amazing and lovely.

Staff was amazing, and we were treated extremely well and always taken care of. Entertainment was also outstanding and made the trip so enjoyable. Will absolutely recommend to anyone to stay at the RIU here.

Did not like any of the dining we had to have reservations for. Terrible food. People were noisy in lobby 2 nights and part of those groups did not have wrist bands. The pool with the swim up bar had too many activities in the afternoon. It was hard to relax and have a drink in the pool without being disturbed by party employees
