I looooovvveeee Jamaica. The Riu is ok. Affordable but if there is a priority for this property is the food. It’s terrible. The Italian and Asian tastes like hospital food. Please improve the menu even if you have to increase the overall price a bit. The other issue is the outdated rooms. They are clean but what’s up with the purple glass block. Serious update needed. Besides that the property is nice and close to the airport and the staff is friendly.

It’s a beautiful place. Surrounding properties offer a lot but a little more at palace would be nice. I’d stay there again. It’s the best one out of the three properties.

Unfortunately the room I stayed in was not what I was expecting. The first night I slept in the bed I was bit up from my left shoulder down to the left side of my hip. When I pulled the sheets back the mattress was moldy on the coners. I called to get a different room and unfortunately they was not able to accommodate me. That will be my first and last time ever staying at Riu palace Montego Bay.

Just left from a 4 day stay. Beautiful country, beautiful resort. Very accommodating. Driver for hotel spiked prices for an excursion so i would recommend inquiring with different people for excursion prices. I was not pleased with the fact you have to make dinner reservations days in advance. Also room service food items were terrible. Other than that i really enjoyed myself, I would just plan my dining times strictly.

Loved the veiws and it was a wonderful place to stay. Staff was always helpful. The only bad thing is when you enjoy the jacuzzi outside the balcony is tile and slippery when you get out even with a towel down.buffet was wonderful you had alot of different types of food for everyones liking.

They do their big one at RIU Palace, Montego Bay, and Reggae. The whole trip to Montego Bay in itself was top tier. Everyone is extremely friendly and you can tell that they love what they do! An amazing experience and I will definitely be back!

We had a great time at RIU palace. They had great variety of food and we were able to book the restaurants we wanted to. Not fine dining quality food, but some of the best we have had at an all inclusive. Also was nice to have food available 24/7. Staff was great. Shout out to Winston, Archer, Nakia, Bubbles, Astro, Dinero, and Francissa. Property was nice. Didn’t really take advantage of being able to visit the other attached RIU hotels because we didn’t need to. We did do some of the available water sports which was nice. Room was good. A bit outdated and beat up, but the bed was good and the shower had great water pressure. Had all the amenities we needed. I know they have Elite rooms but didn’t hear anything about that or how we may have upgraded. Overall we were happy with our stay at RIU palace.

I loved the exclusivity of the elite club beach, cabana area, bar and lounge. No need to wake up early to fight for seating on the beach.

Our stay at the RIU Palace was just okay. The rooms are dated and need a renovation, the rooms do not have a resort feel, nothing but an overpriced hotel room. The outdoor areas are beautiful. The food is just okay, the vegetables\sides lacked seasoning. We paid for dinner on the beach, and it took 2 hours to get our dinner served, the light kept going out, no music, the lobster was dry and overcooked. The BBQ hut chicken was dry and overcooked too. Reservations for the restaurants were hard to get. At times, it was hard to get attention at the bar as they were super busy with not enough personnel for the crowds in and around the pool. We enjoyed the pool foam party, the MJ show, and the white party. However, during the day there were not many fun activities, I found myself bored a few times. Most of the workers are hard workers and are friendly. But there are some with bad attitudes. Bring your own towels and washcloths, they will only leave a set for each person in the room, it's hot and being in a pool or doing an excursion most would want to shower again prior to dinner.... don’t ask for extra as you will not get it. The RIU app has housekeeping as a 24-hour service, we submitted a request, and it was ignored. After waiting an hour, I called...the front desk informed me that there was no one available to give me a blanket for the bed. I was cold and couldn't figure out the thermostat to turn the AC down. White party was a blast !!! i shared a video of the white party back home & everyone could not believe what a PARTY that was & were jealous not to be there too...Thank you for everything & blessings from Toronto Canada.

I loved everything about this hotel it was beautiful but for my Caribbean/black people that’s looking for authentic Jamaican food you WONT find it at any RIU or resort you have to go off the resort for the real food !!! Overall without the food experience the hotel is great!!
